HR reached out for an interview within a week of applying; this was late July. HR confirmed at the end of the interview that they would be forwarding my resume over to the hiring manager, and I'd hear back to schedule an interview the following week. When I didn't hear back the following week, I reached out to HR again. They explained that the hiring manager was too busy and to wait a little longer for the interview scheduling. Why the hiring manager was too busy to interview canidates for a position that I was told they were eager to fill was beyond me.
However, I waited and heard back for the second interview scheduling for the beginning of September, 6 weeks later. The second interview was scheduled with a regional manager in a virtual interview. I still was not able to meet the hiring manager since he was still 'too busy'. The morning of the interview comes and HR told me that it was canceled because there had been miscommunication and the regional manager was not aware that they'd be interviewing me. So, I finally had an in person interview with the hiring manager the following week.
Interview with the hiring manager was pretty standard, however, the hiring manager did a poor job of interviewing. Interviewer did not do a great job of listening to my responses, and I felt like we were talking in circles.
After the interview, I was told I'd hear back within 1-2 weeks. A month passes with no response, so I reached out to HR again. HR informed me that another canidate was chosen and they apologized for not getting back to me.
I found this interview process to be extremely unprofessional and completely unorganized. What a waste of time.
