I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Rolls-Royce Solutions Berlin (Berlin) in Jan 2020
Interview
Phone screening with an HR, after that I was immediately invited to the on-site interview with the engineer. The interview was in the form of a friendly talk about the product, technologies and potential bottlenecks in the application.

Question 1
No particular questions, it appeared to me that they were more interested in what I had to ask.

Interview
I found out about Qinous through an external recruiter and later was invited for a standard phone interview with a Senior Engineer.
The next stage was a two hour long on-site technical interview conducted by the same engineer. It started with a presentation about company’s business and the technical side of it. We discussed their app and some of the architectural decisions that had been made. I was asked a number of open ended questions mostly about my experience, motivation, software architecture, programming in general. It felt more like a talk between two professionals than a typical interview and I enjoyed it a lot (probably the most satisfying interview I’ve had so far).
The last stage was an hour long talk with their CTO who once again asked about my background, my skillset. Then we discussed basic contract conditions and he answered my questions about the company.
I got and offer shortly after the interview, but after a careful consideration and comparison with another option I had decided not to accept it, which was a very hard decision.
