I had a colleague of mine refer me directly to the internal recruiter about an open position. The recruiter emailed me to set up a phone screen even before my application was officially submitted. The recruiter was friendly, personable, and explained the position beyond the job description. This lead to a video interview with the hiring manager who was again personable and well prepared. I ultimately did not get the job (I was attempting to switch career paths but they were looking for a more traditional candidate) but the process was quick, communication was excellent, and I felt respected through the entire process.
