Interview
Contacted by Human Resources who went over the position and discussed my scheduling needs. Then a Home Manager contacted me and set up the interview. Responsibilities for the job were explained and I was able to visit the home and meet the residents I would be working with.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Rock House (Lubbock, TX)
Interview
The interview was informal and only lasted about 5 minutes. The only thing that seemed important to my interviewer my high school education and if my driver's license was up-to-date. My interviewer asked me a few questions, but one question stayed in my mind until this very day: Where do I see myself in five years? Which honestly, I felt some regret for answering because when I told my interviewer that I would like to work in a company, of this particular nature, as a case manager she told me that I would never be able to progress in a type of company like this one. Therefore, all I would ever be qualified to do is be a DCW, which was the most discouraging statement that I've heard from any job.
