      Human Resources Business Partner Interview

      Jan 12, 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Jose, San Jose
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Roche (San Jose, San Jose) in Dec 2020

      Interview

The interview process is redundant, no in depth questions, interviewers are always on a hurry and you notice that they are not interest in the position. If by any means they already have a candidate for the position, they should say it clear and don’t waste your time. Knowledge of the interviewer about the job and job description is lame, a lot of questions are very basic and doesn’t really measure your level. Roche needs to step up on their hiring process if they want to be a great place to work. Also the follow up process is awful, nobody contact you, if you contact your recruiter you won’t get an answer back. And after each interview, it might take up to 2 weeks or more to receive an email back. Roche should definitely consider outsourcing it’s talent acquisition team, it may be more engaging to have a third party doing the sourcing and recruiting than a internal team with a very questionable customer service.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

      1) Tell me your previous experience. 2) what have you heard about Roche? 3) Tell me about a project that’s involved talent management. 4) Other questions not related to the role just to fill up the booked time.

      Human Resources Business Partner Interview

      Oct 29, 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Ciudad de Mexico
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Roche (Ciudad de Mexico) in Apr 2014

      Interview

The process started with a phone screen and thereafter several interviews (too many visits to make a decision) My perception is that criteria / scope of the role was not well aligned among interviewers because of the flow of every interview.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Why would you join the company for a role that has a defined end time?
