I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Robert Bosch (Bengaluru) in May 2016
Interview
Got a call from consultancy. I was invited for a F2F on a Saturday after shortlisting.
After a long wait had my first round with Architect. Asked core C++ concepts. One written test with 15 ques, a mix of mcq and Program output. This round went for 45 mins. Next round was with Manager on the same day. He asked about current roles and my aspirations. Mostly he was curious to know about my expected CTC. Thats all for the day. After one week got a call from HR who asked to come down for GRM round. There are again group manager was more intrested in my ECTC. Then later had a HR round. Again questions were in and around salary. Got a offer after 10 days. Offer made was way too less than the expectations.
Great did well the process was clear, overall it was fine, questions was on previous company job role. About myself and family background, location details etc, interviewer explained the jd well
1. Initial screening interview
Most employers conduct preliminary interviews to vet selected applicants and ensure their skills are a strong enough match for the role. If an organisation is outsourcing recruiting to an agency, then an external recruiter will take over the initial screening interviews.
These initial screening interviews are kept short, generally a 15-20 minute phone interview or via a video conferencing tool. Screening interviews aim to narrow down which candidates to invite (shortlisting) to the official first interview round.
