Ricoh does not have a very good reputation in the market, however I was desparate for a job and applied to one of their openings. Before the hiring manager would even consider reviewing my resume, I was requested to answer a few math questions and also a few Microsoft Excel function tasks. After answering the questions correctly, I did not hear from them for two weeks. Eventually, I did get an interview. The interview was unlike any other. The hiring manager and HR attended the interview. There apparently was nothing in particular in my resume that interested them. They simply started from my oldest job experience listed and worked their way up to my most recent job experience. The total interview was two hours. I get the feeling they were not interested in me as a candidate from the beginning, so I could never figure out why they spent two hours with my at an interview. Oh, I never heard from them again. There was no courtesy email or phone call informing me of the result.
