Interview
I applied last Thursday and on Monday afternoon got a reply asking to take a personality and aptitude test which consisted of ridiculous vocabulary questions and very difficult math problems I haven't done in years, if ever. These tests have little or nothing to do with this position, or any position they have. By the way, there are over 1,000 open positions on their website. This suggests that they have significant turnover, they are expanding their workforce, and/or they can't find anyone that can pass these unnecessary tests.
I was expecting a generic rejection email, and I got it this morning. It's very likely that if any company I previously worked for used these same tests, they wouldn't hire me. These tests should NOT disqualify anyone from employment.
A company figured that if it had 50 more employees and paid each one $2 per day less, the payroll would increase $620 per day. If it had 50 less employees and paid each $4 per day more, the payroll would decrease $640 per day. How many employees does the company now have?

Zoom call very straight forward. They ask you about your personal habits outside of work because they dont allow drinking or smoking of any kind even on your own personal time. Im not a smoker or drinker but that was kind of off putting. Other than that it was a pretty nice experience.

Not much of a process. Was sent a link to complete an application and aptitude test that they estimated to take over 2 hours. I cannot stress how unrelated the test was to the position I applied for but it was just off putting for me. I will not devote that much time to an APPLICATION. I do not care how they see this, but they should know this process is likely why they have a high turn over. Starting your potential employees off with a bad taste in their mouth about your processes.

An aptitude test likely to take hours away from my day. I was emailed a link Friday afternoon and told to finish it in 2 business days. I was emailed on Monday morning for not finishing it and was given an extension. This person clearly doesn't understand the concept of "business" days.

Interview
Take an aptitude test then go through an interview process if you pass. I could see the test being difficult for a lot of people, I was lucky because I just got done with teaching half a semester of high school algebra and that's what basically half the test. I would definitely spend a couple of hours on Kahn Academy and freshen up on algebra if you're really interested.
