      I interviewed at Rexel Group

      Interview

There were several interviews, with various managers and HR. During the process, the hiring manager asked me to send a write-up of how I would approach the role/assignment, so I created a Powerpoint describing my strategy. As it turned out, they adopted my material even before deciding to hire me. On my first day on the job, they gave me an orientation to educate me on "their strategy", and the Powerpoint slides were mine! Somewhat flattering to me, but totally unprofessional on their part. Furthermore, during the interview process, they were hyper-focused on why I left my previous job. In retrospect, I understand that because turnover at Rexel is so high, they are naturally worried that anyone with even a modicum of professionalism will probably leave pretty quickly.
