I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Research For Action in Nov 2023
Interview
Three rounds of interviews. Whole process took about 2 months from application to 3rd round. Screener interview, followed by meeting with other directors, then meeting with research staff, ending with executive staff. After not getting an offer, recruiter took the time to give constructive feedback about my application package.

Question 1
What are some things you imagine you will need assistance with right when transitioning into the position?
Interview was professional and orderly. It was clear during the interview that the organization is in turmoil right now. There has been a ton of staff turnover recently, and staff didn't seem to have a clear sense of strategic direction. Staff on the interview looked a bit shell-shocked to be honest. The organization has a very clear ideological stance (far-left), so if you aren't in that mold, it might not be worth your time to apply.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Research For Action (Philadelphia, PA) in Oct 2018
Interview
I had a few phone interviews that all went well. I felt heard and free to ask questions about company culture, 'success' expectations, and daily work. I was asked about my qualifications and to expound on experiences that were listed on my resume. Overall it was a good experience.
