      Director Interview

      Nov 3, 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Reputation

      Interview

First, the recruiter was close to 15 minutes late for a 30 minute call, after a few rounds of interviews and regularly emailing with the recruiter, I got a canned rejection email after she said she would get back to me. After multiple one-to-one emails, I would have thought it would have been a little more humanized. Oh, and the rejection email tells me to follow them on all their social media platforms and subscribe to their marketing newsletters and communication so they can build their lead base. I don't know why employers think candidates would do that.

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Reputation (Hyderābād) in Nov 2024

      Interview

I received an interview call from the recruiter and went through four rounds, starting with an in-person interview with the CTO, who was highly professional and personable. This was followed by online interviews with Senior Directors and a VP from the US. Every interaction, from the recruiter to the Senior Directors, was thoroughly professional—though, unfortunately, the experience with the VP stood out as an exception. After a few follow-ups, the recruiter responded promptly, mentioning that I’m an exceptional candidate but that they had to choose someone who aligned more closely with their current needs. I feel confident that I performed well, but I understand that each company has its own selection criteria. One thing that left me disappointed was that the recruiter insisted I attend the interviews even though I was on vacation and tending to family commitments. Despite this, I completed every round, putting in my best effort, only to find out they chose another candidate. Nonetheless, I wish the best of luck to those interviewing with this organization in the future.
