First round with recruiter, second round with hiring manager, four individual interviews with different members of the team and a final round presentation with three members of the team. I waited a week for the recruiter to get back to me with any info. When he did he said I was absolutely their top choice, but they had to let one other candidate finish. Then another week goes by and they said the other candidate got sick so it would be almost another week. Then finally the recruiter got back to me and told me they gave the offer to the other candidate. Such a waste of time. Don't lie to a candidate just to keep them on the back burner. Thankfully I dodged a bullet as I reached out to a few people and they said pretty bad things about their experience with the company. I accepted a new job this week and couldn't be happier.
