I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Reformation (Costa Mesa, CA) in Dec 2023
Interview
i don't really remember the interview process, being that this took place a year ago. however, they were just opening a new store location at the south coast plaza during this time and were actively hiring. i received the job offer not long after interviewing, however, the person who interviewed me was very hard to reach. days to 1-2 weeks would go by until i would receive a response giving more information about training (let alone when i can start). even still, the training just gave some possible dates and was on hold since the person i would be training with was on vacation. nevertheless, i just continued to apply to other companies since this was too much delay and back and forth. part of me will give benefit of the doubt since it was a hectic time for that store location though, so maybe this isn't the case now. to me, i felt a lack of professionalism because of this.

When I got there, the manager greeted me. She sat down with me on the 2nd level of the store to interview me. You don't need to bring your resume. It was a straightforward interview. She asked questions about my resume

casual but informative. careful that style matched store goals. felt like appearance more important than experience. I would not bother if I was over 30 years old. Hopefully company will still do well, as it sets a good example for the industry
