      UX Designer Interview

      Jun 1, 2021
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Reddit

      Interview

Step 1: Intro chat with head of design Step 2: Whiteboard exercise Step 3: "onsite" with portfolio presentation, xfn interviews and peer design interviews Overall I had a very positive interview experience. I felt like I connected well with everyone during all of the steps of the interview process and I liked how some parts of the process felt more like a conversation than a test. The interviewers always made sure to leave time for me to ask my questions which was great. I'd make sure to come to the interview with an open mind and with a lot of curiosity and questions.
