I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Recovery Brands (San Diego, CA) in Jan 2017
Interview
I had submitted my resume a few months ago and the hiring manager said she would save my resume for when they were hiring again and she did! We started with a phone call between myself and her. It was great and easy going. She then had me fill out an online survey that was both a skills test and a way for them to get to know me better. We then did a phone call with myself and the SEO manager. We went in-depth in terms of my skills, what I know how to do and what I would need to learn. After that they had me come down to San Diego from LA for an in-person interview. I met with the hiring manager, the head of content and SEO, and the SEO manager. We went to lunch and right away I felt at home among them. They were very friendly and transparent about issues regarding my previous employer being their competition. It was a great overall experience and I was offered the job 2 days later!
