      Process overall was on the lengthy side, first had a call with the recruiter, a half hour conversation with the hiring manager, an hour long interview with a senior consultant, an hour long candidate demo which required a week of preparation with the platform, and finally a 30-45 minute conversation with the department VP. Overall the process required a significant time commitment, but this is reasonable given the nature of the role and the hands on experience with the platform that is necessary both for the hiring team and for the candidate to see if it's the right position for them. Communication with the team was very pleasant and the recruiter was extremely punctual in providing updates and checking in along the way.

      Overall a very efficient and transparent process. I was kept informed and knew the outcome of each stage within 48hrs. The interviews gave me the opportunity to lead on presenting myself in the best way, offering me the chance to influence the course of the conversation rather than feeling that you are just providing evidence for a set of competencies. You could approach the technical demo without investing time and just complete the assigned tasks, but the scope is wide enough to demonstrate interest, knowledge and the work put in. There were 10 weeks between submitting my online application and my first day. The recruitment was split into 5 stages: 1. HR screening call - No different to other companies. A simple set of questions to check basic suitability for the role. 2. Manager interview - An interview with a manager talking through knowledge, skills and experience but leaving with a real sense of what the role is and the wider direction of the team. 3. Director interview - An in depth discussion with a director on what I would bring to the company. It felt like a genuine attempt to understand me but also allow me to understand if I the company was the right fit for my career. 4. Technical demo - a 90 minute technical demonstration of specific capabilities within Recorded Future's platform to a group of potential colleagues and managers. The time includes a period of general questions which again allowed me to understand the team that I was applying to join. 5. References and employment checks

      4 step interview: recruiter, hiring manager, senior team member, then a presentation on the Recorded Future platform to a panel. Everyone was friendly and professional. Communication was timely and transparent through the whole process. Very positive experience.

      Interview

      I was referred by a current employee and within a day had a follow-up asking me to submit a formal application for their records. At that point: ​ 1. Initial Phone Screen with Recruiter (30min) - Easy-going, pleasant conversation with initial questions about background, qualifications, compensation expectations etc. 2. Interview with Hiring Manager (30min) - More in-depth questions about background, interest, fit etc. Still fairly easy-going, provided initial chance for me to ask more questions about the role/expectations. 3. Peer Interview (30-45min+) - Very in-depth conversation with a current employee. Honestly felt like a chance for ME to interview the employee, but that may vary by interviewer. Was a huge positive in the process though and a great chance to feel out fit. 4. Platform Demo (60min + Prep Time) - Provided with a clearly defined assignment to demonstrate technical and presentation ability, given 7 days to prep. To satisfy minimum requirements, actual prep time probably 2 hours or less. However, that may vary based on your background, abilities, confidence, desire to go above and beyond etc. 5. Recruiter Check-In + References Request - Asked to provide 3 references, including a current or previous supervisor. Pre-negotiation for compensation may happen at this phase if appropriate. 6. Final Recruiter Check-In + Offer Overall, the process was straightforward, pretty quick (~ a month from referral to offer), and everyone was candid and responsive. I found it a really positive experience overall.
