I was interviewed for PM role, Hyderabad. Interview was scheduled in such a way that you don't know if that interview is going to happen or not until you join and the other side shows up. If they don't join, you can consider it is going to be rescheduled. Fun isn't it :) .. Pathetic.
You call up or email Talent Acquisition team, they don't respond or call/email later. They lack minimum courtesy or consider that the candidate has spend time and energy in attending interview and hence they need to be made aware of the interview outcome. It's a product company and the DNA of any product company is "EMPATHY" for the customers. Leave aside customers, this is the attitude of the TA group towards candidates or future employees. Till date am didn't know whether I cleared my interview or still under consideration or is the position closed.
Am glad I didn't get an offer coz imagine, what if I get an offer and then I resign my current job and when I call up or want to have any discussion or updates with Realpage, then they are not available for me. So, every possibility that I have lost my current job and may be am later ignore by future employer. Just imagine this and am AFRAID 😱.
Looks like the general work culture may seem to be ok but attitude of few folks with future employees isn't right. Something the leadership team needs to focus as this may mislead and link to the work culture and values inside. Thanks.
