As is the way with many startups, they have an exhaustive interview process with quite a few steps. Recruiter call, hiring manager interview, skills assessment, then 1 - 2 additional calls with upper management. The skills assessment is challenging and has the potential to leverage a lot of detail. You get 30 minutes to present what is basically an account plan although the detail they give in the assessment it would be better served to have a full hour. During the assessment the attendees will jump in and ask questions (as outlined in the assignment) so you really need make sure the presentation takes far less time than 30 minutes. For mine, one interviewer showed up late and they asked several questions that were answered later in my presentation leading me to basically run out of time and having to rush at the end. I believe this led to me having to rush overall and not being able to show the 20 hours of work I put into the assignment. Some of this was my fault, some wasn't.
