I applied online. I interviewed at Rampart Communications in Jan 2023
Interview
Pretty light behavioral interview, more or less just asked about my resume and then if I was okay with relocating to their location as well as walked me through what the internship entailed. Was more of a conversation than an interview.
Very long and drawn-out process. Around 5 different steps to get to the offer. The time between the first interview and the offer was about 2 months. It is even longer between the application and the offer. People were very nice and the culture seemed fun however the recruiting process is draining.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked generic questions on how coding languages and computers work.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Rampart Communications (Linthicum, MD) in Oct 2022
Interview
Knowing a bit about the company I sought them out directly. After an initial phone screen, there were two in person interviews. First was a team interview to match technical proficiency and cultural fit. This was primarily focused on work background, successes/failures and goals and included BD team members, CEO, Admin, and members from the technical team. The second interview was focused on 'Expectations' and was with the CEO and HR to make sure everyone was on the same page about roles and responsibilities and comp package for the job.

Several questions focused on what type of person you are when the rubber meets the road. EG: What's an example of a mistake you made and how did you go about resolving it?
