I had great regards for the company till I interviewed here. The worst thing a company can do is to still call candidates for roles when you have already hired the person for the role. I am not sure how common this practice is but it is certainly new to me.
Onsite interview was a breeze. People who interviewed me were very really nice, smart, and passionate.
However, the post-interview experience is another story altogether. It has been few weeks but I have not heard back anything yet.
Looking back, I am realizing that I am glad that I will not be joining this company. If a company can't respect you during the interview process, just imagine how will the company treat you when you get hired.
It's red flag from the beginning. HR missed my schedule and then reschedule but joined the interview late.
The process is too long and not necessary, usually 3-4 rounds and need to do assessment as well.
Package is not competitive (no AWS, low basic salary in industry, bonus is only around 10% per year)
The interview process was disorganized, and the job posting was abruptly "canceled" an hour before the interview without clear communication to candidates, which felt unprofessional. It turns out they had just gone with another candidate, but this was not what was said in the explanation. The HR team was extremely unresponsive and was very vague in all emails.
Went through the complete interview process to be ghosted. Followed up but no response either. Why waste candidates time to ultimately ghost them? Was a frustrating experience. Please have some empathy for the candidates who really go through the process to at least have to courtesy to let them know the feedback.
