      Supply Chain Manager Interview

      Mar 4, 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Encinitas, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Rage On! (Encinitas, CA)

      Interview

Was a referral from a high school friend. I sent my resume to him, who sent it to the CEO. I then followed up and heard from HR. I resent the resume and connected to management through Facebook and LinkedIn per their request. I messaged the CEO who then said HR would talk to me. I filled out a few forms and let the CEO know when I didn't hear back from HR. I finally got an interview on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend over the phone. He told me he filled the position but would like to consider me for another role. We continued and he said he would follow up again that Monday... on Labor Day. I waited for 2 hours and heard nothing, so I went for a run. E then called me while I was 2 mile in on a trail. He said he'd email me an offer and to plan on attending online orientation at 9 pm on Labor Day. I sprinted back to my car with no offer yet. Finally, around 8, I get a call and an email. The offer letter is ready and he wants me to accept and dial in on the spot. I tell him I need to review first, so he withdrew the offer. Fast forward a week to me pestering him and he arranges another skype interview, this time with 2 other people. He now wants me to do a trial run and solve some Supply Chain issues for him. I begrudgingly agree to try it out. I get an employee email account and for 20 hrs over the weekend until 3 am at night am sourcing for them for phone covers in China. I set up a google docs database per their request which was given access to the guy who filled the position I was supposed to be applying for... they still don't know what I would do. I would be working for the guy whose job I was originally applying for. After doing this, I followed up for the position, letting them know I had provided at least 30 leads and 20 hours of free labor. They did not reach a decision so I withdrew my application to which they stated I was unprofessional for doing so. I then communicated their poor interview process and their mistreatment of candidates.
