I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Radiology Partners in Sep 2023
Interview
It was a 4 step interview process. Meet n greet, technical, further review with managers then separate meeting with vice president week later. Offer letter was offered a week later
I applied online. I interviewed at Radiology Partners in May 2022
Interview
Process would include:
- Recruiter
- Manager call
- Skills Test
Check in with recruiter - they basically just read the job description. Pay range was slightly lower than expectations and only 15 days PTO was also low. Decided to give it a shot and see what I could learn about the role from the hiring manager.
I've never had an interview where I so quickly realized I didn't want to work someone. She shared nothing about the role in the first 15 minutes and was baiting me into giving a value to my skills rather than opening the floor to discuss my past work where she could then gauge my skills/experience. Very fixated on "If I'd pass a SQL test" after I explained I've been using SQL daily as an analyst for the last 3 years. Tried to explain that the issues they deal with between their SQL Database and Dashboards were mitigated by better data engineering at my past jobs, but she seemed to want to know if I could solve their data engineering issues as an analyst. I work with data engineers all the time as the expert in the data to create environments for downstream analytics but wasn't given the floor to walk through my experience. I was interrupted within 30 seconds of going through my background with pointless questions. All circling back to some hypothetical test. I'd suggest interviewer training for the managers as I've never had an interview this poor. She suggested starting over after she could tell I was getting frustrated with her process but I decided in the moment to end our call early and let them know I was no longer interested. I didn't learn anything about the manager, the team or the job I was considering, all I saw were red flags.
