I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at RPM Technologies (Canada) (Toronto, ON)
Interview
Received an email to go in for an interview. Interview consisted of HR questions and a written test. I've posted the written test questions at the bottom.
1) Write the FizzBuzz program. (Google it, pretty easy)
2) What is the difference between an instance and a object?
3) What is a transient variable?
4) Write a program that throws a nullPointerException and catch that exception
5) Difference between a static method and a non-static method
HR questions were more like:
why do you want to become a developer? What makes a successful developer? Describe a recent project you did, etc.
In the end, they were looking for someone who's able to work independently, as there will no "hand-holding" in this company. Also, someone who is very knowledgeable in the financial services.
