Interviewed for the Accounts Payable Manager position and unfortunately did not have a positive experience. While I came prepared and answered the interviewer’s questions thoroughly, the overall interaction felt very cold, rigid, and unwelcoming. The interviewer did not come across as particularly personable or collaborative, and the conversation felt more like an interrogation than a professional discussion.
I left the interview feeling uneasy about the overall team dynamic and management culture, to the point where I decided I was no longer interested in pursuing the opportunity further.
After the interview, I reviewed many of the other interview experiences already posted online, and honestly, my experience seemed very consistent with what others described. There appears to be a recurring pattern in how candidates perceive the culture and interview environment, which was concerning to me.
The position itself sounded interesting on paper, but the interview experience significantly changed my perception of the organization.
