I had a phone screening with a recruiter, then three rounds of interviews with the hiring manager, would-be peer, and finally the person above the hiring manager. The recruiter followed up with feedback and the next interview invite between calls.
Initial call with recruiter, I thought it went well. I was told I would hear back, but then ghosted. I followed up multiple times and never heard back. Least you can do is send an automated rejection email.

Multiple phone interviews after emailing a few times. Then an in-person interview. The whole process took a couple of months and towards the end Covid-19 hit and R1 decided to postpone hiring.
