I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at R1 RCM (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2011
Interview
3 interviews total. 1 phone screen, and 2 on-site interviews where you meet with current employees (potential peers) and one senior level interviewer. Questions skewed more behavioral vs technical, but can change by position you are applying for. I was applying for the Operations Lead role and my final interview focused on "actions" and "results" - interviewer asked for examples (personal/professional) of specific actions I took and the results of those actions. If the interviews are similar then it's important to show you are accountable, organized and take initiative - as you are not always going to have much guidance on your project. It is up to you to manage your deliverables and be self-directed/ self-motivated.
1st interview is a screening with the recruiter. 2nd interview is with the Senior Director and 2 team members. 3rd interview is with leadership team and must give a presentation.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a time you overcame a difficult task and how you did it.
They brought me into their office to interview with different people for different positions, even though I only applied for one position. They all seemed to be very defensive about their company even when I didn't ask about their big situation that was in the news. The interview questions were typical (e.g. why do you want to work at Accretive, describe a time when you had to persuade someone, etc.).

Question 1
The questions were all what you would expect from an interview. Nothing surprising.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at R1 RCM (Chicago, IL) in Apr 2014
Interview
Fairly simple, straight forward. Lots of phone interviews. Recruiter for the company called. Should have been more timely. Took too long to get through each process.
