I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Qvest.US (Austin, TX) in Jul 2016
Interview
Recruiter gave me this problem to code for them and submit it. I finished it and she said developers only wanted it in bitbucket. I was new to using Git so I tried using but couldn't submit the way they wanted. However I send them all the source code with libraries used including several test cases. She refused to take that as a solution. I spent so much time on writing it as a production code and they didn't accept it. I was interviewing many places that time and just didn't have the bandwidth to figure out bitbucket for them. Few days later she emailed and said they didn't want to go forward with me. I asked her for the feedback if they developers even evaluated my solution and she never replied. Although I have few offers now and have happily picked where I want to work but interviewing with them was such an awful experience. I am glad things didn't go well as I would not want to work for them. Such a waste of my time and energy talking to them.
