5 rounds, 1 with outside recruiter, Hiring Manager, 2 Senior Directors and another Marketing Manager. Every round it was clear there was no communication between the interviewers, and that none of them reviewed my resume more than a quick glance. Most of them spent the first 5 minutes of the interview shuffling between tabs to find which candidate they were speaking with. Instead of the managers communicating with each other and sharing notes post interview,..all 4 of them asked the same questions each round. Some of them even verbally stated "im not sure if so and so asked you this or not yet". It was quite unprofessional. The questions themselves were all very high level and none of them gave an opportunity to showcase true technical capabilities. It was shocking that they did not give an opportunity or request a project example or mock campaign presentation, which is typically something you always see in a senior marketing role. The process from first round to verdict was over a month as well, They kept cycling candidates and reposting the role. I am sure they had excellent candidates but due to their highly disorganized and unprofessional interview process they didnt allow themselves the opportunity to gain confidence in any of them.
