I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Prudential (New York, NY) in May 2015
Interview
I had an exploratory phone interview with the hiring manager. It took approximately 45 minutes. She was very friendly and I thought we had a good rapport. However following the interview I never heard back from HR. I later learned that she decided to hire someone with more relevant experience. Still a follow up email just letting me know that I was not selected would have been nice.

"tell me how...?"
It seems to be the trend these days as most companies have adopted this style of interview questions.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Prudential (Newark, NJ) in Oct 2021
Interview
LENGTHY! A couple panel interviews followed by a few one on one interviews with others on the team before a final interview with the hiring manager. Entire process took about two and a half months. This was followed by an exaggerated onboarding process.
2 rounds of interview with VP and a senior VP. HR vetted the candidates and follow up on short list. The time it took from interviews to starting at Prudential can be improved.
