I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Productiv
Interview
I met with then hiring hiring manager, and then there were three rounds of technical interviews. There were no leetcode questions. The three technical interviews were collaborative system design and product design questions/ discussions.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Productiv (Denver, CO) in Jun 2025
Interview
Initial Recruiter screen
30 min Hiring Manager Call
30 min Technical Round w/2 Software Engineers
30 min VP call discussing experience
The last step was an offer that couldn't even match the job listing salary. They advertise a range that they cannot pay. I cannot imagine why they'd waste their own time (and mine as an applicant) when this is the case. I do not think Productiv are a serious company.

Question 1
Asked about experience and how I'd handle certain interactions
First round with hiring manager was excellent, I felt completely in tune. Second round with engineers was awful - asked a coding question unrelated to anything relevant to the job, then tried to have a conversation with the engineers and got very little in the way of conversation, and what was communicated felt completely misaligned with the hiring manager. Get everyone onboard with what you're looking for.
