I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Procore Technologies (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
Spent 5 hours of interviews in total over a six week dragged out process. My experience was absolutely in line with the role but I received a quick one line after my in person interview that said we are not moving forward with you as a candidate. I asked for feedback and received absolutely nothing back. This company appears to suffer from ageism as all senior roles are filled by recent female college graduates. A company that cares about culture and employees yet doesn't have enough respect to take the time to provide feedback to when asked isn't professional and will eventually garner a bad reputation in the tech space quite quickly.

Interview
Typical interview process, recruiter screening, hiring manager, panel, demo. The first two steps weren't overly difficult if you have a good story to tell and relevant experiences. The hiring manager was super personable and made you excited for the job. Then came the Panel, it's almost like they're trying to make you fail in some parts of this. Very scripted, especially the values - it almost felt as if the interviewer wasn't consistent with the Procore values in any way. Didn't give their full attention from the second the call started, refused to give feedback, and asked questions that didn't really seem to relate to what everything prepares you for during this step. In the end the job was offered to someone else with minimal feedback however the job posting was renewed a week later. For how much effort goes into these processes the whole thing didn't leave a good taste in your mouth. Don't expect to get an offer after your first go around, it usually takes 3 or 4 tries.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Procore Technologies in Apr 2024
Interview
Did an extensive interview process and was ultimately declined. Thankfully though because one of the interviewers reached out to me directly on a personal social media account while I was still moving through the process. Might be a good place for some people but definitely not for me.

Question 1
What sales materials I consume in my free time? What sales books do I like?
Started with an online application. Was then contacted via email by a recruiter to schedule a phone interview. Phone interview was 30 minutes, and ended with recruiter saying I did not have the proper relevant experience. Received an email the next day saying that I was not moving on in the interview process.
