Interview
I was contacted by a third party recruiter, I chatted with him and he thought I would be interested in this Sales Manager position in CT.
So then I drive 1.5 hours to meet with the VP of Sales. Nice guy, took a liking to each other and he painted a picture of the company and what their goals are. I have to say I was definitely blinded by his words, after all he is a salesman. Talking about advance technology, global diversification, having a white canvas and being able to do what I want.
Second interview, I meet with the President and CEO/Founder. The president is a nice man and talked with him for about 5 mins. The CEO is an elderly man who seems to be quite eccentric. At this point, I had an idea I was going to be offered the position since they already started talking about an offer.
