I recently applied for an Associate Analyst position at Prime Healthcare (Ontario CA) and had an interview that left me feeling quite disheartened. The conversation, if you can even call it that, was incredibly one-sided. The interviewer, who turned out to be the manager, spent about 85% of the time talking about herself – her achievements, her responsibilities, and what she makes her teams do. It felt like I barely had a chance to speak about my own experiences and qualifications.
Honestly, it was one of the worst interviews I've ever had. I left with a bitter taste in my mouth, feeling like my time had been wasted and my abilities overlooked. It's disheartening when you're not given the opportunity to truly showcase what you can bring to the table.
I hope this feedback can somehow lead to improvements in their interview process, so other candidates don't have to go through the same experience.
It's frustrating to encounter interviews like this, but providing feedback can help companies understand where they're falling short in their hiring process.
