I was contacted by the recruiter. A telephopnic call was setup. She asked me typical questions which I answered. She told me to setup my first coding round and but was adamant that I have to give a figure for the expected salary. Anyways she said that she has to setup a video call with me tomorrow to go over some other questions. It was setup for 1 hour. Recruitment screening 1 hour ??? Anyways I did go in the meeting and that lady asked me same questions again...not a single question different...and told me that she will get back with next steps as in when is the first technical round. It got finished in around 15 min and I checked my mail after that...found that while she was talking to, my application was being declined as I got a notification from workday. I was like WOW !! I mean its fine...my experience does not match with your job description then either do not call for telephonic interview, even if you did and then setup 1 hour interview again. Why ?? just to reject....without asking any different question. You could have done yesterday as well. How unprofessional. Please be a little respectful for other's time and experience. She booked 1 hour perhaps just to have her calendar full and enjoy rest time so people in her office think that she is working. Very bad experience !!
