They only asked behavioral and typical HR questions about my communication style and how I deal with «annoying people », only one question was asked about my current related job skills. There were a lot of awkward pauses and silence on their side, one HR lady had her camera off the whole time, she only turned on her camera at the very end, the President was poking both HR ladies to ask a question during each awkward pause. Looked at their company photos and it’s all a bunch of older guys, I assumed the world has changed and they want a woman on the sales team but it appears they just hired another man! They didn’t care about my related civil engineering experience and only asked one question around that. They would have seen from my LinkedIn photo that I am clearly not a man and that I have experience selling a more complex and sophisticated geomatics/civil engineering solutions vs their water gaskets lol - yes I totally agree I’m not a fit for Press-Seal Corp if this is how they run their old fashioned business! Maybe they’ll hire me when I grow a large cucumber with a beard! Their loss and I thank God for redirecting me towards a more professional organization!
