I applied online. I interviewed at Post Office (Lancaster, England) in Apr 2022
Interview
It was fairly striaght forward. I spoke with the manager and counter clerk. After the interview is 2 training weeks which can involve some travel. After then you should be good to go.
Fairly standard and very professional experience. It started with questions about why I was applying for the role and what role I was applying for. I was also asked about my skills and transferable skills from previous work experience.

The process begins with a phone screening, followed by two interview rounds that explore a candidate’s background, strengths, competencies, technical ability, and cultural alignment. These stages help determine suitability and ensure they can thrive effectively within the role.
