      Lab Technician- Mercury Lab Interview

      Anonymous interview candidate
      Declined offer
      Neutral experience

      Interview

I applied online and received an interview appointment the following day. I met with the owner who continuously said that he was worried that I would not be able to do the required duties of the position. I would respond back with questions regarding training and how quickly have past employees learned the procedures but he kept saying that he was worried it would take me too long to learn. I asked to shadow a few technicians to see what their job duties entailed and they all seemed to be on edge. Overall, it wasn't a bad interview but I didn't understand why I was being interviewed if I clearly could not learn to do the job even after being trained.
