It was an HR interview. They were doing screening tests from preliminarily selected applicants. The HR interview process was so good and she also gave me some very good suggestions.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Popreach (London, England) in Jun 2022
Interview
After the initial conversation with the recruiter, I was given a take-home test which I was expected to complete and send back in an email. I did this and had to wait for about three weeks and multiple emails before getting feedback.
With taking home-test you’d usually expect your next step to be a session where you’ll explain your submission and maybe answer any other questions with the reviewer, but instead, the feedback I got was that they’ve decided not to proceed with my application because I did not “log any errors.”
1. This was not stated as a requirement in the test
2. You don’t log errors for logging’s sake. You log errors when you have a good business case to do so.
The feedback was unfair, and the team’s approach was very questionable, at least.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Popreach (New Delhi) in Nov 2020
Interview
The interview process took around one week. Overall it was an average interview. The questions that were asked are what is severity? What is priority? What is API testing? What is exit criteria for a build to be released? What is integration testing? What games do u test?
