I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Policy in Practice (London, England) in May 2025
Interview
Three stages of interview, first with two junior people mostly covering previous experience, especially with data, and motivations. Second interview included a small case study and more experience with data. Third was with the founder and completely on motivations. Was likely a cultural fit interview

Question 1
Write a policy brief about a topic of your choosing
The review process is a critical stage that involves evaluating content, performance, or work output against set standards. It typically includes multiple layers of assessment, often starting with self-review followed by peer or supervisory review. Feedback is provided to highlight strengths and identify areas for improvement, fostering a cycle of continuous learning and refinement. The process aims to ensure that the final product meets quality expectations and aligns with organizational goals. Reviewers are expected to be objective, fair, and thorough, balancing critique with constructive suggestions. This process not only enhances the work but also supports professional development and accountability.
Quick fluid process, interviewed by different department heads, interviewers were incredibly friendly and forthright, and enough material provided in order to perform well in the demonstration aspect. I would thoroughly recommend you do your research before interviewing, especially all the available resources on their website.
