Interview
The interview for Platoon Aviation takes place at their headquarters in Hamburg and is conducted by a panel of three examiners: an aviation psychologist, a first officer, and a captain. The assessment covers a broad range of topics, from classic HR and psychological questions to the analysis and resolution of hypothetical operational scenarios. The goal is to evaluate not only the candidate’s interpersonal and mental resilience but also their problem-solving abilities under pressure. A high level of English proficiency is essential, as is strong operational imagination and situational awareness. The entire interview lasts approximately two and a half hours and is designed to test both technical judgment and human factors in aviation decision-making.
Very good atmosphere.
They asked standard HR questions like Job experience, why GA, why not airline, what makes you suitable, how you deal with stress etc. There was a group of 4 people incl. 2 psychologists and the management team. They are very nice. Think about strengths and weaknesses.
