First interview was a panel. Hiring manager and then 3-4 other associates. Was a neutral experience, but didn't get to connect with anyone or learn anything outside of the job description due to the nature of the interview.
I applied online. I interviewed at Piper Sandler (New York, NY) in Apr 2026
Interview
1st round consisted of four 30-minute interviews with both Co-Heads of the group and two Managing Directors. A week later, I interviewed with two Associates and an Analyst, followed by two additional interviews with Managing Directors within the Financial Services Group.
It was a hirevue video recording with about 5 questions in there. After that, they contacted straight for super day. Super day was 4 b2b and each lasted about 30 minutes. Overall difficulty was not too bad - got grilled with some technicals but they were mostly basic.
