      Anonymous employee
      Wayland, MO
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Pilot Flying J (Wayland, MO) in Feb 2012

      Interview

After applying I was contacted a few days later to come in and interview. It went well and a week after that I was called to do a job shadow for a few hours to see if I was still interested. The manager gave me the impression that I was the guy he wanted, but told me that I would be having to take an online test at some point that all new hires had to take to test my workplace tendencies and competencies. A week later I got a call from the area rep and got through the test. I did not hear back from anyone until I called three weeks later when the man I interviewed with told me that as far as he knew, I was the one they were going to hire. Two weeks later I got another call from the area rep who told me I scored well on the test and we negotiated my pay and hammered out the details of my training phase.
