Ghosted! That's the only thing I can say. Applied to a job, was initially rejected, was contacted back months later by a recruiter to schedule a personal interview, did the interview, was told my profile was great for a different role they have just opened and so they would contact me back soon, after weeks without any news I contacted the recruiter several times who basically ghosted me.
