Direct talk to CEO, then talk to the engineering team for a day of virtual onsite interview. Then if goes well, it leads to an offer. During the onsite, you will also need to give a presentation. It can be any work that you want to talk about.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Phantom AI in Apr 2023
Interview
During my initial phone screen, the interviewer was unable to provide clear answers when I asked about the product and the company's business model. They were very disorganized and didn't seem to have a clear idea of what the company does. They also provided incorrect information about the interview process - I was told the next round would just be a chat with the hiring manager, but it ended up being a coding problem. They ghosted me afterwards. Extremely unprofessional overall. I would avoid this company, they don't seem to know what they're doing.
