I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Petrotech
Interview
Interviewed with potential direct manager and the CEO. It went well with the manager, but the CEO portion was less than favorable. We discussed my current and previous experience. When I mentioned I was a supervisor to a team of 6, he asked me why I hadn't been able to dwindle that team down in the time I had been there. He thought it was far too many people for a team. I felt that the company culture here would be cutting corners and costs at the detriment to the people who worked there (i.e. overworked, under paid, under valued). I also felt that at any time, my job would be next to be cut. I was offered to continue on next steps for the role, but I withdrew my consideration after the interview with the CEO.

Question 1
Why haven't you let more people go from your team?
I applied online. I interviewed at Petrotech (Houston, TX) in Jan 2022
Interview
I was invited to do two separate hour long remote interviews back to back. The first person I interviewed was ten minutes late and noticeably unprepared (he did not have my resume on hand or even know what position I was interviewing for). The second person I was to interview did not show up. Later that day I was told she was “now ready for me” but I insisted that we reschedule the interview for another day. I never received a response to my rescheduling request.
As for difficulty of the first interview, it was pretty easy but that might be because he was so unprepared.
The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Petrotech
Interview
Sat down with 3 different members of organization. Not a difficult interview process. Hiring manger ghosted me for about a month; I had to call him to find out I did not receive the position. Extremely unprofessional company which did not seem to learn from previous employees complaint. I would avoid.
