During the past four years of my school experience, no extracurricular activity has been more significant to my growth and personal and mental development than high school wrestling. Like most other sports, wrestling is a team endeavor that depends on the collective effort of many individuals contributing to the whole. Through this sport, I have experienced pain, sacrifice, adversity, and success. Varsity wrestling has instilled many qualities within me. First, through the years of hard work and continuous dieting, wrestling has taught me the true meaning of discipline and perseverance.
