I passed through several interviews and was at the last stage where I was asked for a presentation with a strategy for their language learning apps. I was given a few days to complete the assignment. The presentation was sent and after not hearing about it for a week and I followed up. They told me they were between me and other candidate. After some more days I didn't hear from them so I followed up again and they told me they were still deciding. Some more days passed and I followed up but this time I never heard back from them. They obviously went with the other candidate but they could have had the deference to let me know given the time and effort that it has been put into the interview process.
