      User Experience Designer Interview

      Jul 22, 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Paytm (London, England) in Jul 2019

      Interview

Hiring process was quick. Three rounds of direct interviews to test my knowledge on various projects. But absolutely no communication from the company's end after the interview. Candidates are left in the dark wondering what happened to their application even when it seemed like it all went well. Definitely needs a better HR process in place.

      User Experience Design Interview

      Aug 14, 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

      I interviewed at Paytm

      Interview

I won't recommend applying to this company. The hiring process is lacking humanity. HR doesn't make an effort to make the process any different from thousands of other companies. I passed the first interview and then was given a test. After spending considerable time on the task and not receiving any feedback, I was sent an automatic reply: "Thank you for applying... etc etc. ". They don't respect candidates' time and don't even thank you for going through the process with them. Btw, the challenge was downright bad, included a lot of spelling errors, and was very hard to read. Makes them look very unprofessional. I'd recommend the company to treat candidates with respect and to put more effort into their hiring process if they truly care about their employees' talent.

      User Experience Designer Interview

      Apr 5, 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Ahmedabad
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Paytm (Ahmedabad) in Dec 2016

      Interview

Happened in two rounds. First was portfolio review. Recruiter shortlisted candidates based on the past work and projects done. Shortlisted candidates were called for Personal Interview, where skills related questions were asked. It was having an average difficulty level. HR was present in the room but was not part of the panel and so never interacted.
