The interview was fairly balanced. The technical questions were of medium difficulty, and I didn’t encounter any major challenges, but I also didn’t feel a high level of challenge. The team was friendly and open, and the atmosphere was relaxed

Microservices Architecture, Scalability and Performance
PayU coding problems often include a variety of data structures and algorithms topics, such as string manipulation (substrings, palindromes), tree traversals (zigzag), linked list operations (loop detection, reversal), dynamic programming, and mathematical problems (prime numbers, pairs with a given sum). For roles like Data Engineer, questions focus more on Python, Spark, and SQL.

Round one MCQs (focus on sql, design patterns, DSA leetcode medium)
Round two interview on teams- either 2 DSA questions medium hard leetcode or like me resume based + SQL + DSA medium 1 question
