I had two 30 minute virtual interviews. One was an initial phone screen with the person who would have been my boss and the second was with one of the HR Business Partners id be working with.
The interviews were great and the process moved quickly. I had one final interview onsite for 2 hours. It was long but I met with 3 different people so it kept the conversation moving. I spoke with each for 30 minutes and ended with a tour.
Overall I feel the interviews were engaging and fair. I enjoyed getting to know the team. The only reason I rated it neutral was because I was never properly rejected. They told me after my final interview that I'd hear back "soon". When I followed up after a week they said they were making final decisions (aka they already made and offer and was waiting for them to accept or deny) and told me they'd get back to me early the following week. Then at the end of that week, two weeks after my final interview, I got an automated email asking for feedback on my interview process. I still haven't heard from them directly about a rejection.
It just left a bad taste in my mouth but I guess it's not uncommon anymore these days. I just feel like if I put that much time and effort into the process the least I deserve is a proper rejection.
Other than that, the interview process was good. It just ended poorly.
